In this month before Thanksgiving, seventh graders took the time to engage in a program about giving thanks. As part of the program about gratitude and the importance of saying thank you, students considered things and people in their lives that they are grateful for. After learning through sources about the importance of gratitude in Judaism, students then watched an incredible experiment that demonstrated how saying thank you can actually make one happier. Finally, students tried it out on their own. They wrote thank you letters to people who deserved their appreciation and sent them in the mail. You may be the recipient of one of those letters!
