As a culmination to this year’s Chumash Vocabulary League (CVL), middle school student winners from each sixth-eighth grade class faced off in the auditorium for the annual Middle School CVL championships. All year, students have been learning Chumash vocabulary words in a fun, quiz league format. There was excitement and intensity in the air as finalists displayed mastery of the 350 vocabulary words that they amassed this year and as the entire school competed in a new Blooket CVL competition. Mazel tov to this year’s winning teams: the Thank You Hashem’s, the Chicago Cap’n Crunch, the Torah Trio, the Cincinnati Chevrolet, the Benin Burgers and the Rwanda Rugelach.

Although specific student teams were crowned the winners of the competition, all students walked away as winners with skills that they will use to study Chumash for a lifetime.
