JKHA sixth grade students were treated to a special siyum lunch celebrating the occasion of their completion of the entire Mishnah Berachot and marking the start of their Gemara learning which will begin in seventh grade.Students heard inspiring words from Rabbi Chaim Marcus of Springfield, recited the customary Hadran, danced in celebration with their rebbeim and morot, and began learning the first few lines of Gemara. Students left feeling proud of their accomplishment, recognized the kavod haTorah (honor of Torah) that they were a part of and are excited to embark on the journey of learning Gemara next year.
