JKHA sixth graders were so excited to roll out the red carpet for a fashion show in Ivrit class. Over the past few weeks students have been busy learning about clothing and its history—comparing the fashion of the past to today. Additionally, they had the opportunity to research about Israeli clothing and see how fashion has changed from the time of the pioneers to the present time. In order to summarize the unit, students were asked to design their own clothing and later on to showcase it to their friends. During the fashion show students were asked to give a preview in Hebrew, about the model, the person who designed the clothes and describe it in detail.
