JKHA seventh and eighth graders recently created missions and visions for their own shuls using some of the ideas and values that came from their study of the purpose of the Mikdash in their Navi classes. In order to take their projects a step further and add an interdisciplinary component, in their pre-algebra classes, the students designed actual 3-D models of their vision. First they decided on the dimensions of the synagogues, solved many proportions to sketch a scale drawing and finally made their synagogues come to life by printing and building 3D scale models.
