Fifth and sixth grades at JKHA participated in a presentation from the shofar factory. They learned in detail how a kosher shofar is made, the different type of horns used, what makes a shofar work and took part in a hands-on experience of making a shofar. The experience will surely enhance their tefillot as they hear the shofar on Yom Tov.
