JKHA fifth grade students put their knowledge base of Egypt to use today on an informative and exciting trip to The Metropolitan Museum of Art, where they embarked on group scavenger hunts throughout the Egypt wing. Created to capitalize and expand on students’ historical and critical-thinking skills, the scavenger hunt allowed students to enjoy their recent mastery of ancient Egypt content material and expand their thinking through an exploration of primary sources and artifacts. Students loved seeing their content knowledge come to life. Sixth graders also headed into NYC this week for a visit to the Museum of Natural History and explored the exhibits there.
