Joseph Kushner Hebrew Academy held its annual Barnes and Noble Summer Kickoff event this past week. It was a wonderful opportunity for parents and students to interact with teachers outside of the school setting and to choose their summer books, all the while supporting the JKHA school library. This year published author Wendy Mass was present for a signing and to meet the students. In addition, JKHA parent Gregory Zuckerman was on hand, with his sons Eli and Gabe, to sign his newly published book and discuss the publishing process. Many faculty members ran crafts and activities throughout the day. A portion of sales from the event will be donated to the JKHA library.
