Over the past five weeks, seventh and eighth grade students were challenged to read 10 books from a selected list. All students who read at least five books were invited to participate in the “Battle of the Books.” Teams of students answered questions about the details of the book and were required to know the titles and authors. In a very close competition, with all teams displaying vast comprehension and recall of everything they read, the winning team of four won by only six points!
