During Super Bowl 50, JKHA students participated in their own version of a halftime show with a JKHA/RKYHS Halftime Dvar Torah, presented by Rabbi Dovid Sukenik, JKHA Middle School Mashgiach Ruchani and JKHA/RKYHS Judaic Studies faculty member. Students were encouraged to watch the video dvar Torah during halftime and answer the question posed by Rabbi Sukenik. Answers were submitted during halftime and throughout the second half of the game. All students who submitted an answer were admitted into a raffle for a $50 Amazon gift card. In advance of the big game, students received a detailed brachot list that was developed by middle school students for popular Super Bowl Party foods such as various chips, dips, hors d’oeuvres, chili, wings and pizza.
