JKHA was thrilled to welcome the incoming 2017-18 pre-k and kindergarten students. In the two “meet and greet” sessions, parents had the opportunity to meet and hear from Head of School/ Klatt Family Rosh HaYeshiva Rabbi Eliezer Rubin, JKHA Principal Debbie Finkelstein and a number of JKHA administrators and faculty, while children were engaged in a variety of activities.
Next year’s kindergartners spent time in the current kindergarten to get acclimated to the classroom and teachers, while their parents heard from Early Education Director Ruth DiGiovanni regarding the goals and objectives of kindergarten and our early childhood program. In the pre-k “meet and greet,” the incoming students engaged in art projects with the teachers, had story time with librarian Abby Roth and enjoyed singing with music teacher Mrs. Hoizner. JKHA is excited to be enrolling the largest kindergarten in recent years, and once again enrollment has resulted in two full pre-k classes.
