Jack currently plays on Teaneck TBO 8U Fall travel team and with only half the games played, Jack has made his presence known across the league. Game two of the season Jack started the game and held the opposition scoreless. With the score tied 1-1 in the final inning, Jack returned to the mound and retired the side. In the bottom of the 6th, after a leadoff walk, Jack roped a double to knock in the winning run in dramatic fashion.
Last Sunday was another memorable outing for Ruditzky. Jack struck out the first six batters vs. Upper Saddle River (2 inning max on pitching) in an 8U perfect game outing. At the plate, Jack hit a double and a homerun for a total of 5 RBI in a 12-0 win.
Super coach Norm Blumenthal eagerly said about on the experience, “I coached jack on the 8 and under summer travel team this summer. Jack was a year younger than most of the players on the team and more than held his own. He did a great job pitching for us and was superlative in the field and at bat.”
In addition to baseball, Jack loves playing all sports and is currently playing on the CMEK 3rd grade basketball travel team. Last year he was on the championship Teaneck Soccer team as well as the championship MGBL basketball team.
Jack is a great teammate to be around and his demeanor and sportsmanship make the experience enjoyable for the team and coaches.
Jack’s biggest fan is his little brother Joe, who has watched more little league baseball than anyone his age and looks forward to when Jack can cheer him on as well.
