The Teaneck community invites you to a Night Out for Chesed 24/7, Saturday Night November 15 at 7:30 at Congregation Keter Torah, 600 Roemer Avenue, Teaneck, NJ. Calvary Hospital has generously sponsored the evening so every dollar raised will go directly to help patients and families. The event is ln Chaim Gavriel ben Aron Chanina Hakohen Finkelstein. Enjoy a performance by Mentalist David Blatt, a wine tasting, a dairy buffet and an exciting raffle while helping provide crucial support for hospitalized patients and their families. Lattes will also be served….Chesed style!

What are Chesed 24/7 Hospitality Rooms?

Chesed Hospitality Rooms are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year offering patients and families a small piece of home in the hospital. Chesed 24/7 is available – 24/7 – to make sure that you are never alone.

Located in various hospitals in the New York Tri State area, Chesed 24/7 Hospitality Rooms consist of a room or suite of rooms equipped with a refrigerator, kosher cakes and snacks, prepackaged meals and soups, coffee, milk, yogurt, ice cream, and other dairy products, comfortable chairs or recliners, Jewish reading materials, tapes and other sources of inspiration, Shabbos food warmers and any other amenities a Jewish individual would require.

More importantly, it offers a quiet place where family members can sit and relax, or receive emotional support from others in similar circumstances. A Chesed 24/7 representative frequents the rooms to interact with patients and their families, offering guidance, support and additional assistance with any issues that may arise.

Chesed 24/7 maintains 16 hospitality rooms in the following hospitals: Columbia University Medical Center – Milstein Hospital Pavilion, Columbia University Medical Center – Babies and Children’s Hospital, Valley Hospital, Lenox Hill Hospital, New York Hospital Cornell Medical Center, Hackensack University Medical Center, Good Samaritan Hospital (Suffern), Englewood Hospital and Medical Center, Mount Sinai Hospital, Memorial Sloan Kettering.
