People all over Israel and supporters throughout the world are joining in the Human Chain. “Today we launch the Virtual Human Chain campaign to show support for Israel,” said Chanan Ziderman, founder and CEO of Jewish Projects. “Our goal is to connect Jews and lovers of Israel through an interlocked chain, showing support in all areas of Israeli society.”

“Jewish Projects creates awareness of significant social projects for support and mutual commitment within the Jewish world, to allow Tikkun Olam (meaning “repairing the world” in Hebrew) and participation of Jews around the world in overcoming dire social challenges,” said Ziderman. “Specializing in resource development to promote critical social projects, Jewish Projects uses the internet, social networks, and campaigns, to attract partners, friends, and support for nonprofit organizations in Israel and around the world,” he said.

Registering for the Human Chain is easy. Visit www.humanchainforisrael.org, select a donation level and a cause. “You can donate to one of the following groups: food for needy families, Judaism and outreach, tolerance in Israel, arts and leadership, the elderly, sick children, education and empowerment, or make a general donation,” Ziderman continued.
