JSDD to Host Open House Community Picnic

Jewish Service for the Developmentally Disabled (JSDD) and its Wae Center will be hosting a free, open house picnic on Tuesday, June 26, from 6:00-8:00 PM, to introduce itself to its Jewish neighbors in West Orange. JSDD is located at 270 Pleasant Valley Way (sharing the same building as Ohr Torah and the First Mountain Preschool).

Co-sponsored by the men’s clubs of Congregation AABJ&D and Ohr Torah, Chabad of West Orange, the WestOrangeJewishConnectionZ and the Eric Eliezer Levenson Foundation for Hope, this event will feature barbeque foods from Smokey Joe’s of Bergen County, arts and crafts for all ages hosted by Wae center staff and an opportunity to meet Wae center participants and residents of the JSDD residential homes. Parking will be available across the street at B’nai Shalom.

For more information, or to make a reservation, you can contact JSDD at 973-272-7148 or on the website at www.jsddmetrowest.org.
