Jump Into Shape Partners With Renewal

Countless benefits come from exercising: You’ll lose weight, reduce stress and strengthen your bones and muscles. Even just 30 minutes of physical movement on a consistent basis has been shown to have a dramatic positive impact on a person’s life. But it can be hard to get into exercising, especially on a consistent basis, and taking the first step is often the hardest.

Jump Into Shape helps you take that first step. Created and helmed by Moshe Moskowitz, the company is geared towards making exercise a fun and collaborative experience. They offer a number of live, virtual classes such as jump roping, pilates and body weight training. Now they’re expanding their reach by partnering with Renewal, giving even more people access to their convenient and effective fitness program. Classes are separated by men and women for tznius reasons, and they even have a nutritionist on staff to assist Renewal members with whole body health.

Moskowitz originally started exercising on his own, and through a consistent schedule of jump roping was able to lose 14 pounds in one year. Seeing the benefits a healthier lifestyle gave him, Moskowitz was inspired to create Jump Into Shape and help others get into shape.

“Just getting started is always the hardest part of anything,” Moskowitz shared with The Jewish Link. “It’s especially tough with exercising, because it’s something that’s so easy to say we’ll get to tomorrow. But the thing is, exercising is an activity that gets easier the more you do it. Yes, it will be tough at first, but once you learn to do it consistently and make it a part of your daily life, you might actually find you enjoy it.”

Everyone who signs up for a Jump Into Shape membership is given a free 30 days to try out the classes. They’re also given two weighted jump ropes to use, and you can keep the equipment if you stay a member after 100 classes. They have at least 20 classes a week with a number of different trainers.

“We are passionate about what we do,” Moskowitz continued. “Our staff wants to see people succeed, and we’re always checking in to see how they’re progressing. Sometimes it helps to know that others are cheering you on through the process, and that’s exactly the sort of people we aim to be.”

Renewal is an organization that assists the donor and recipient throughout the entire kidney transplant, from the first day of testing through the morning of transplant when the donor is driven to the hospital. With the partnership, Jump Into Shape will offer classes specifically for Renewal’s community of kidney donors, assisting them in maintaining a lifetime of health and fitness.

“I’m honored to partner with Renewal,” Moskowitz continued. “Jump Into Shape is offering Renewal donors access to a healthier lifestyle after they have literally given a part of themselves to save someone’s life.”

Jump Into Shape has been around for four years, and has seen significant growth throughout. What began as one man jumping rope has now grown to almost 130 active members who are consistently taking classes and achieving their fitness goals. That so many people are involved in his program is a fact that still blows Moskowitz’s mind.

“It’s just crazy to think that this all started with me doing jump rope by myself,” Moskowitz went on to say. “Now I’m jumping rope with so many others, and it’s a small little community that we’ve built for ourselves. Some of our members say they had never exercised a day in their life before, but now that they’re in the program they love it. They are having a blast and have never felt better. Seeing members hit their goals and hearing their feedback, it means the world to me.”

Jump Into Shape is fully virtual, and members do not have to turn their cameras on if they are not comfortable doing so. The classes are also recorded and made available for members only.
