Sunday, September 20, 1-4 p.m. In celebration of a new membership season, the Kaplen JCC on the Palisades will hold an Open House for the entire community on Sunday, September 20, from 1-4 p.m. JCC staff will provide guided facility tours all day, where members and guests will be able to enjoy JCC gyms, outside pools and water park, try sample classes, and make use of both the adult and youth fitness centers. There will also be special activities for children, including a moon bounce, face painting, a balloonologist, nursery school playgrounds, tumble room and more.
Adding to the fun will be a variety of sample classes and demonstrations for children and adults, as well as music, giveaways and more, all offered on a varying schedule from 1-4 pm. JCC representatives will be on hand to speak about JCC programs and membership and to help people register for classes. The JCC is also offering a special promotion in connection with the event. People will have the opportunity to get $150 off membership if they join by October 31 and if they join at the Open House, they will receive an extra $50 in JCC cash.
