Students in 6th and 7th grade throughout Bergen County are encouraged to join this fun and fabulous council, where they get to plan Saturday night events for their friends and fellow students. Past events have included ice-skating parties, snow tubing trips, cupcake wars, community service programs, and more.
“We are eager to build this council, hear new ideas, and help students plan successful programs that make them feel proud,” says Teen Director Alexis Robins. “It is a great way for young teens to build confidence and feel empowered.”
The Council will meet on the following eight Mondays, 5:30-7 p.m.: Oct 27, Nov 10 &24, Dec 8, Jan 5 & 26, Feb 9 & 23. Events will be held on Saturday nights from 7:30 – 10 p.m.: Nov 15, Jan 10, Feb 7, March 7. For more information, call Alexis Robins at 201.408.1470 | [email protected]
