Chanukah Science Circus

Celebrate the holiday of miracles with mind-blowing science experiments! Liberty Science Center’s scientists are coming to the Kaplen JCC on the Palisades to help us explore the positives and negatives of static electricity, the sub-zero temperatures of liquid nitrogen, the states of matter and the immense pressure of air. The show will include more than a dozen miraculous experiments, as well as volunteer opportunities! Cost: $10 JCC members/$12 public. Children under 2 free.
Dec. 25 Family Fun

Join award-winning author Karen Rostoker-Gruber and her puppet Maria for a playful reading of Maddie the Mitzvah Clown, a book about a girl who despite her shyness decides to become a Mitzvah Clown to make her grandmother and her friends smile. Family will enjoy a morning of fun and laughs with a real-life Mitzvah Clown, balloon animal making, juggling, singing and dancing—just like in the book! Book will be available for purchase and signing. Cost: $10 JCC members/$12 public. Children under 2 free.
