To showcase all the exciting camp offerings it has planned for summer 2017, the Kaplen JCC on the Palisades is holding a camp fair on Sunday, February 5, from 12 to 2 p.m. Children will enjoy face painting, a bounce house, giveaways, arts and crafts, performances, a sample of camp activities and a tour of the JCC facility with their families. There are more options than ever for campers, ages 3 to 15, and all are “all inclusive,” providing daily swim, lunch, snacks, towel service and access to transportation and extended care, so parents don’t have to worry about a thing.
Camp offerings include the Neil Klatskin Day Camps for ages 3 through Grade 2 and Neil Klatskin Specialty Camps for Grade 3+ where campers can specialize in Fine Arts, Science, Multi-Sport, Basketball & Tennis, Dance Intensive, Center Stage Musical Theater, Broadway Performance, NEW! Comedy and Theater, Chamber Music and Big Idea Hi-Tech. There are also mini-camp options in sports, dance, music and more to fill gaps between when school ends and camp begins and when camp ends and school begins in the fall.
People who cannot attend the fair but have questions or want to schedule a tour, can contact Melissa Peters, Assistant Camp Director, at mpeters@jccotp.org or 201-408-1485, or the camp office at NKDC@jccotp.org or 201-567-8963. Office hours are Mon-Fri, 9 a.m.-5:30 p.m.
