In preparation for the annual JCC Maccabi Games, which will take place at the JCC of Greater Baltimore on May 6, the Kaplen JCC on the Palisades will be holding basketball tryouts for Junior and Mini Maccabi Games for Team Palisades on Sunday, December 10, 5-7 p.m. Girls will try out from 5-6 p.m., boys from 6-7 p.m.

Age requirements for the Minis: Jewish boys and girls ages 9-10 by 5/1/18.

Age requirements for Juniors: Jewish boys and girls ages 11-12 by 5/1/18.

Once the team is assembled, participants will begin a weekly practice starting in March and compete in two to three weekend tournaments leading up to the games. There will also be an optional Maccabi Skills Clinic for an additional $20 per class. Fee: $595 (members only) includes team jersey, games entrance fee, game day meals, weekly practice and weekend tournaments. Transportation not included.
