In recognition of Jewish Disabilities and Inclusion Awareness Month, nationally celebrated in February each year, the Waltuch Gallery is featuring the artistic talents and accomplishments of individuals in the community who are differently-abled. This year, more than 110 artists submitted pieces for this month-long exhibition. Each piece expresses the creative talents of school-aged children and teens, adults, community residents and participants in the JCC Guttenberg Center for Special Services.
The artwork will be displayed through the end of February, with a meet-the-artist reception on Sunday, February 4, from 1 to 3 p.m.
“The Art for All exhibition celebrates not only the creative talents of these individuals, but also the spirit of inclusion that we pride ourselves on here at the JCC,” says Shelley Levy, director, Guttenberg Center for Special Services.
