KAVOD Offers Survivor Photography Project

Amy and John Pregulman, the founders of KAVOD, a Memphis, Tennessee-based organization that helps Holocaust survivors in the US, will be coming to the JFS of Central NJ, Elizabeth office, Sunday, July 23, and Monday, July 24, to take free portraits of Holocaust survivors and their families. Appointments will be scheduled in 30-minute time slots, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. and must be scheduled in advance. There will be no appointments scheduled for 12:30-1:00 p.m. The Jewish Family Service of Central NJ Halpern Building is located at 655 Westfield Avenue, Elizabeth, NJ. The program is for Holocaust survivors who reside in Union County, NJ.

The program is funded by a grant for the JFNA Center for Advancing Holocaust Survivor Care and the Jewish Federation of Greater MetroWest Holocaust Survivor Fund as part of a series of programs for Holocaust survivors and their family caregivers.
