(Courtesy of Kehilas Bais Yosef) Kehilas Bais Yosef invites the community for a Shabbat (Ki Tisa—February 22-23) of learning with Rav Michael Rosensweig and Professor Smadar Rosensweig.
Rav Rosensweig has been a rosh yeshiva at Yeshivas Rabbeinu Yitzchok Elchonon since 1985, and since 1997 has mentored the yeshiva’s top students as head of the Kollel Elyon. He was a close disciple of Rav Aharon Lichtenstein, zt”l and also received a PhD in Medieval Jewish History under the tutelage of Professor Haym Soloveitchik.
Professor Rosensweig teaches Bible at Stern College and gives shiurim and lectures across the country.
The schedule for Shabbat includes Rav Rosensweig giving a drasha between Mincha and Maariv on Friday night, before Musaf on Shabbat day and at shalosh seudot, and giving a Gemara shiur for men at 4:05 p.m. on Saturday, with all events taking place at Kehilas Bais Yosef, 580 Broadway, Passaic
Professor Rosensweig will give a 4 p.m. shiur for women on Shabbat day, at 48 Crescent Avenue, Passaic.
