Kfar Students Learn With Rabbi Neuburger

What a zechut it was for Kfar’s elementary and middle school students to spend time with Rav Yaakov Neuburger, Rav of Congregation Beth Abraham, this week at Kfar as he met with each of the talmidim. The excitement was palpable as each student was given the opportunity to show the Rav what they were learning. The discussions between one of the communities most revered rebbeim and the talmidim ranged from the fun activities they’ve done at Kfar, to their favorite parsha snacks to showing the Rav how they have learned to read and write in ways they have never done before. The pride was felt by both Kfar students and teachers alike.

Rabbi Neuburger also gave a mini shiur to middle school students teaching them about the similarities between the Bais Hamikdash and a shul, often referred to as a “Mikdash Me’at.” He emphasized that every Kfar student is always welcome in shul and he hopes they feel comfortable coming with their parents as much as they can. Kfar is so appreciative of Rav Neuburger’s leadership and dedication to making Kfar a successful part of the community. Congregation Beth Abraham is a true partner in this endeavor and Kfar thanks all of their members for welcoming them with open arms. It takes a little village!
