Learning in kindergarten is always hands on and art is integrated into all subjects. During an ELA lesson focusing on the letter u, the students learned about the artist Michelangelo and how he painted ceilings by lying on scaffolding. With a lot of excitement, the students emulated Michelangelo and painted pictures on their backs under the table!
