KDS seventh graders have been participating in the national Facing History curriculum in their study of the Shoah under the direction of Marjorie Hirsch. The program is not only one of historical focus, but one of artistic, spiritual and literary emphasis as well. This year’s ceremony for Yom HaShoah was a culmination of their learning and centered on the Oneg Shabbat archive.
