Deborah Weitz, School Psychologist, Kinneret Day School

Deborah Weitz, PsyD, is a New York State- and New Jersey-licensed clinical psychologist with over 18 years of clinical experience working with families, children and schools. Dr. Weitz maintains two private practices; served as the family center coordinator for the Riverdale Nursery School and Family Center; co-founded Wellsource Group, LLC, a private practice focusing on children and families; and spent several years working with children with histories of trauma through the New Jersey Division of Youth and Families Services (DYFS). Dr. Weitz, whose husband graduated from Kinneret, is very excited to join the Kinneret community.

Adela Korn, Learning Specialist, Kinneret Day School

Prior to coming to Kinneret, Adela Korn was a teacher and instructional coach at the Shefa School for five years. She recently completed the Brandeis University Teacher Leadership Program in Advanced Graduate Study as a Jewish day school fellow. Adela began her teaching career as a Teach for America corps member where she taught at the Bronx Early Learning Center and earned her master’s in special education at Hunter College. Adela lives in Riverdale with her family.
