Eve Levi, kindergarten teacher

Eve Levi comes to KDS after teaching kindergarten for 17 years at a day school in New Jersey. Levi’s goal is to instill a love of learning in her students, encouraging curiosity and creativity. She takes a holistic approach to education, infusing mindfulness and leadership skills in her classroom, striving to extract the best from each child while providing them with lifelong skills to succeed.

James Poggiagalle, PE and soccer coach

James Poggiagalle has 10 years experience teaching and coaching children. He is currently pursuing his master’s degree in physical education from Manhattanville College. Poggiagalle is passionate about sharing his love of sports and physical activity with his students. His past positions include head PE teacher and assistant administrator at a private school in Hastings, preschool teacher, program director of a sports facility, camp director and coach. In his downtime, Poggiagalle loves to hike, travel and garden.
