Happy Chanukah from Kol Chaverim Preschool in Fair Lawn. The yeladim loved learning all about Chanukah in different ways. The holiday kicked off with the annual KCP Chanukah Chagiga. Families gathered together to enjoy crafts, dancing, doughnuts and more. The children also learned about how we make olive oil with the Olive Press Factory. All the yeladim made their own menorah to take home as well. They practiced counting to eight as they said the brachot and lit the candles. During the week of Chanukah, there was a Chanukah sing along concert with Morah Stacey, Maccabee sports games, a Shabbat glow party and finally, the most favorite day, Chanukah Pajamika! Morah Elana came to school in her Chanukah pajamas and everyone sang songs, spun like dreidels and read a Chanukah book together. What a wonderful holiday!
