KCP loved celebrated Simchat Torah! They spent the short week sewing, gluing and assembling their flags. Each class worked on a multi step, sensory focused and individualized project. With a focus on fine motor skills, the yeladim gave their hands a real workout, an important developmental milestone for gaining sufficient hand strength needed for skills such as holding a pencil! They waved their flags high as they marched throughout the school in a Simchat Torah parade b’yachad!
