The yeladim of Kol Chaverim Preschool in Fair Lawn learned all about how to keep their bodies healthy. They had a science lesson discussing the importance of covering their sneezes and how germs spread. In honor of Dental Awareness Month, the children had a special visit from a real dentist who talked about keeping teeth healthy, counted their teeth and discussed which foods stick to teeth and which slide off. The yeladim enjoyed using a large toothbrush on puppets with teeth to practice. Students also learned about how their bodies work by making a skeleton out of Q-tips. They danced along to the song “Dem Bones” and pointed to all the bones inside of them. KCP loves to integrate various fun methods and ways to engage its students.
