The yeladim of KCP in Fair Lawn were immersed in the parsha this week. The yeladim made yummy rainbow cereal necklaces, made many rainbow crafts and even made rainbow challah! Did you know that baking helps strengthen little fingers and hands? It’s hard work to mix and knead the dough. The children practiced pinching and rolling skills while they shaped it too. Lastly, all the classes conducted a science experiment called, “sink and float.” Everyone selected an item to place into the water, predicted what would happen and graphed the results. Science activities like these are wonderful for both math/graphic and critical thinking skills.
