Koren Siddur Wins National Jewish Book Award

The Koren Ani Tefilla Siddur, the Hebrew/English weekday prayer book, has been named a winner in the Jewish Book Council’s 2014 National Jewish Book Awards.

The Koren Ani Tefilla Siddur is an engaging and thought-provoking siddur for the inquiring high school student and thoughtful adult. It is designed to stimulate an intellectual, visual, and emotional connection to prayer through an elegant translation by Rabbi Jonathan Sacks and a unique, multi-tier commentary by educator Rabbi Dr. Jay Goldmintz. Features include three different layouts for the amidah that allow users to maximize their concentration, narratives, quotes, a collection of “Frequently Asked Questions” on prayer, tips on enhancing one’s kavana, and a bibliography of helpful educational resources.

The Koren Ani Tefilla Siddur is part of the Koren Magerman Educational Siddur Series. Other siddurim in the series include the Ani Tefilla Shabbat Siddur and the Koren Children’s Siddur (grades K-2), illustrated by award-winning Israeli illustrator Rinat Gilboa.
