This fascinating journey takes you along one of the most beautiful stretches of the Danube, right in the heart of the once-brilliant imperial and royal Austro-Hungarian monarchy. From the starting point in Passau, the cruise goes downstream to Budapest, the “Queen of the Danube.” You will pass through three European countries (Austria, Hungary and Slovakia) and three capitals (Vienna, Budapest and Bratislava) including the varied scenery of the UNESCO World Heritage site of the picturesque Wachau Valley district of Austria including a visit to the city of Salzburg.
