Kosher Taste Provides a Recipe for Every Palate

In her book, Kosher Taste, the author shares her formula for success: Plan. Prepare. Plate. Like many, Amy Stopnicki juggles a busy career and family life and takes pride in the food she puts out. Whether a simple family meal or a more formal dinner party, Amy’s food philosophy of healthful eating, balanced meals, simple ingredients and food that looks as beautiful as it tastes will work for everyone.

Every recipe offers the same easy-to-follow formula. Plan: Here Amy shares her tips for preparing ingredients ahead of time, sharing personal stories and examples from her life and how she manages her own time. Prepare: Here are the simple instructions and step-by-step guide to recreate these beautiful meals in your own home. Plate: Through her experience as an event planner and working many world-class kitchens, Amy shares her ideas on not only making the food taste beautiful but look beautiful as well, appealing to all the senses. Amy helps you create meals you would be proud to serve to your most discerning guests.

The book is broken down into sections that include Plan Ahead, Weekday Menus, Soups and Salads, Sides, Mushroom, Fish and Dairy, Mains, Trendy Recipes, Sweet Treats and Odds and Ends. There is a full Passover Index and makes suggestions to make recipes Pesach-friendly. The book also includes weekly menu plans for easy, no-fuss meal planning. Some notable recipes that have quickly become fan favorites include Easy Kokosh, Spinach Pesto Stuffed Chicken, Elephant Garlic Soup, Quinoa Burgers, Turnip and Apple Slaw, Gluten-Free Crepes and Mushroom Stuffed Meatloaf.

“From start to finish, Amy’s recipes are a masterpiece on our table. They are easy to follow, present beautifully and they taste delicious! Whether it is for an intimate family meal or a dinner party for 40, the first place we turn to are Amy’s recipes,” said Miriam, an educational support specialist and busy mother of three in Toronto.

“With three children with very sophisticated palettes trying Amy’s recipes was always a hit. The stir fry for dinner received rave reviews as the ‘best dinner ever.’ They devoured it as they fought over who gets the last mushroom scraped from the bowl,” added Leba, a busy stay-at-home mom of three in Manhattan.
