KoSoCo Arrives at Glatt 27 in Highland Park

Few things quite signify that a startup food business has achieved a level of local recognition than their products finding shelf space in their own community kosher grocery store.

As previously reported by The Jewish Link (January 6, 2022), KoSoCo Kosher Southern Comfort is the passion project of three friends in Highland Park—Andrew Cohen, Dovid Becker and Rob Haarburger—who’ve developed a reputation for their exceptional skill in preparing smoked meats. They launched a new business in late fall 2021 and quickly took the neighborhood by storm, building a solid customer base and seeing their fleishig food products featured in events at many area shuls.

Since then, they’ve managed to get their products on the freezer shelves in One Stop Kosher grocery in Elizabeth and at Pino’s, a liquor store and performance/event space in Highland Park. On July 7, KoSoCo moved up another level when their vacuum-packed meats began selling at Glatt 27 Kosher Market in Highland Park.

For more information on KoSoCo, see KoSoCoNJ.com All KoSoCo products are certified Glatt Kosher under the VAAD Kashrus of Raritan Valley.
