(Courtesy of JKHA/RKYHS) The Joseph Kushner Hebrew Academy/Rae Kushner Yeshiva High School (JKHA/RKYHS) ATID Society is pleased to present the stand-up comedy of Modi on Sunday, November 24, at 7:30 p.m.
The ATID Society event kicks off the school’s annual campaign, which enables JKHA/RKYHS to continue to deliver academic excellence in Judaic and general studies while ensuring that the school remains accessible to school families. ATID Society members understand that tuition and fees cover only 70% of the costs of an outstanding JKHA/RKYHS education. The annual campaign enables JKHA/RKYHS to continue to strengthen academic excellence, provide financial assistance and hire and maintain top-tier faculty.
Bat Sheva and Murray Halpern, who are dedicated JKHA/RKYHS parents and stakeholders, are chairs of this important event. As stated by Murray Halpern, who also serves on the school’s board of trustees, “Support for this inspiring event provides JKHA/RKYHS students with the knowledge and skills they require to ensure Jewish continuity. ATID means future—and our students are the future of the Jewish community. Bat Sheva and I are proud to help lead this special evening for our school and community.”
Modi was voted one of the “Top 10 comedians in New York City” by Hollywood Reporter and Backstage, and has received rave reviews by the New York Times, Time Out NY and the New York Post.
Members of the ATID Society are invited to enjoy a lavish dinner reception prior to the comedy show. For membership in the ATID Society and corporate sponsorships, please contact JKHA/RKYHS Director of Development Lauren Shapiro at [email protected] or 862-437-8192.
