The Cobras are back! SAR was beaten by the Kushner JV Soccer team last Tuesday night. The Cobras started off the game with a bang, scoring a goal in the first quarter. Then, the Cobras upped the ante. They scored six more goals against SAR over the next twenty four minutes, and only let up one goal. In the second minute of the fourth quarter, sophomore Marc Yarkony scored his second goal of the night, which then implemented the mercy rule. Kushner beat SAR by scoring a remarkable 8 goals. Last year, Kushner made it all the way to the championship, but lost to SAR. This year they came back swinging. This win puts them tied at the top of the league. Kushner’s next game is just as important. The two first place teams will battle it out, Frisch vs. Kushner.
