Thirty girls attended the two day tryouts for the 2016-2017 RKYHS Girls JV and Varsity Volleyball teams. This included 13 new players. Nine freshman made the JV team. Ten former JV players and five returning players will lead the varsity team. The team hopes their play will reflect their excitement for the upcoming season.

The JV crew has much to learn to get up to speed. But the fun they are having will shorten their learning curve. This Varsity crew is looking to break some school records. Ariella Savitz and Zoe Eisenberg will need strong support of Abby Stein and Pnina Lerman to fill the graduation of Olivia Plotsker’s offensive leadership, and defensive prowess of Tamar Shoen and Lital Twizer.
