Kushner Middle School Cobras Win on the Road

At a recent Wednesday night game, the Kushner MS girls hockey team got on the bus to Manhattan to play a game against the Ramaz Rams. The Cobras started the game full of energy and ready to compete. The first period was a battle tied at 0-0, until Eiden Warsaw finally broke through with a beautiful goal from an assist from Co-Captain Yael Rosenberg. In the second period Taylor Tarzik scored a banger of a goal off an assist from Co-Captian Annie Orbach. During the third period Tarzik scored yet again off of a phenomenal Orbach assist. Finally Yael Rosenberg scored a rocket of a goal hitting the top corner of the net. The defense, led by goalie Aviva Lipper, was rock solid and blocked multiple goal attempts to end the game with a 4-0 shutout. Everyone on the team contributed, and under the guidance of Coach Julia Morreale’s, the Cobras are on track for a great season. Go Cobras!
