Livingston, NJ—The Rae Kushner Yeshiva High School Wrestling Team hosted a tri-meet on January 4, with teams from JEC, YDH and Kushner. The team dropped a very close meet to a solid JEC team by a score of 37-42. Despite Kushner winning 7 out of the 11 matches that were wrestled, Kushner was unable to overcome the 3 forfeits (18 points) that it gave up to JEC. Kushner would later face YDH, winning by a score of 66-0. Kushner is working hard to try and develop its young talent, along with filling some of its forfeit gaps. Hopefully the team will be able to present a close to full line-up for the Wittenberg Yeshiva Nationals in mid-February.
