Kuva Art Gallery to Host Pop-up Event on December 24

Have you considered purchasing art and don’t know where to start? Are you looking to add something contemporary and meaningful to your current collection? Perhaps you have a piece of art sitting around waiting for the perfect frame so it can enhance your living room. Now is your chance to beautify those walls. Kuva Art will be hosting a pop-up one-day event, this Sunday, Dec. 24 at the boutique venue space in Passaic’s Brookhaven Mall.

Kuva will be showcasing the latest sought after Judaica art pieces from recognized Judaica artists. They will display a wide range of art and framing choices in many styles, sizes and price points. Kuva is a premier source for curated contemporary art. From residential to commercial and from formal to casual spaces, this is an event you want to be at. Lakewood is coming to Passaic, giving North Jersey and beyond a chance to join this exciting gallery.

A veteran of the art business for over 20 years, with a keen eye for design, curating art and personalized framing experiences, is owner Naftali Kovalenko’s forte. The gallery is always on the forefront of the latest trends in the art world. “We seek to inspire with the traditional themes that speak to the Jewish heart,” said Kovalenko, “and we continually source new artistic talent, new styles and cutting-edge framing designs.” Kuva forges personal relationships with each artist that they represent and it is “our privilege to bring their artistic masterpieces to the walls of your homes,” he added. Included in the selection of Israeli artists are the works of Brachi Horen, Menucha Yankelevich, Sarit Stern, Gitty Fuchs, and many other talented painters.

From their beginnings 25 years ago as “The Print House,” Kava’s art business evolved into an art-design firm for assisted living facilities, well-appointed commercial spaces, interior designers, and medical facilities. Their expertise in all things art soon led to the establishment of a retail location, which serviced the tri-state area for 20+ years. Their rebranding as “Kuva Art” three years ago was met with enthusiasm from Lakewood and beyond. And if your interest is piqued, “Kuva” is a Finnish word for image or picture.

Not only is Kuva Art Gallery experienced in art curation, but it is also renowned for its expertise in custom framing. The right frame adds a crucial element to each piece of art and “can truly bring a piece of art to life for the piece,” explained Kovalenko. Framing options range from the ever popular budget-friendly floater to high-end gold-leaf hand-carved designs, and of course the prominent showcase for art of today: acrylic frames.

“Our policy is to provide a wonderful experience for our customer,” he explained. This is reflected in the enhanced customer service extended to each person who enters our gallery. We’re looking for long term relationships,” he said. It’s not just about selling that one art piece, but also welcoming these connections and allowing customers to experience the immersive world of art.

At the event, Kuva will offer a wide-ranging selection of Judaica art, special show pricing, refreshments, and the opportunity to schedule an in-home consultation. Instead of ordering art from a faceless site, attendees will have the unique opportunity to meet and be greeted by the founders and have in–person conversations about art, the process and the gallery. Many of the presented pieces will be framed and ready-for-purchase.

Kuva shares personalized guidance that is sure to inspire, uplift and captivate each person who crosses their artistic path. Kovalenko has many Passaic customers and finds them a pleasure to work with. “We are truly excited for this unique event and look forward to greeting everyone there and giving them a chance to enhance their spaces in a meaningful and beautiful way!” For more information, check out kuvaart.com.
