(Courtesy of Bris Avrohom) Over 200 people joined the exciting Lag B’Omer event at Bris Avrohom. The men, women and children who attended enjoyed a sumptuous barbeque, a bonfire, marshmallow toasting, archery and a mini petting farm. Rabbi Avremy Kanelsky, who directed the event, shared with the crowd the significance and meaning of the day. The children then recited the 12 pesukim.

A special surprise attraction for the children was a fire truck that arrived. The firemen distributed fire hats to the children and instructed them on fire safety. Bris Avrohom is grateful to the fire department of Hillside for coming and enhancing the event.

The program concluded with frozen treats for all—a lingering sweetness to top off a most enjoyable evening!
