Lag B’Omer Is Fun at JEC

After Gemara shiur, learned l’chvod Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai, the entire high school walked to the park for Lag B’Omer festivities. It was a beautiful day for football, softball and ultimate frisbee, which spanned out over acres of fields. Rebbeim and students interacted in many fun and super-intense games. “As I rounded the bases in one of my last JEC events, so many memories came to mind,” said Gidon Hagler (12th grade). “When I crossed home plate, with Rabbi Neuman standing there, I remembered all the great moments I have had with my rebbeim.” As the games ended, students of all grades joined together for a great BBQ lunch. Playing with the 10th grade was a lot of fun,” said Eli Krul (ninth grade). “And the grilling was awesome. What a great day!
