Lamdeinu to Host Seventh Annual Chanukah Breakfast on Sunday, December 5

(Courtesy of Lamdeinu) Lamdeinu, an educational institute in Teaneck that provides high-level Torah learning for women and men of all ages, will host its Seventh Annual Chanukah Breakfast on Sunday, December 5, at 10 a.m.! The Breakfast will mark the seventh day of Chanukah as well as Rosh Chodesh Tevet 5782.

This year, Lamdeinu is delighted to honor Arielle Cohen, an active member and supporter of Lamdeinu. Arielle has been a devoted Lamdeinu student since its inception. A lifelong Torah learner, Arielle seeks out learning opportunities wherever she goes, and strives to lead her life in accordance with Torah, middot and chesed. An avid Talmud, Halacha and Parashat haShavua student, Arielle is at Lamdeinu almost every day of the week. Arielle is grateful to Lamdeinu for making Torah learning so accessible, enjoyable and rewarding.

This year, with admiration and sadness, Lamdeinu is honored to dedicate its Chanukah Breakfast in memory of Mrs. Lorraine Vogel, z”l. Mrs. Vogel was a constant and avid learner at Lamdeinu. Her bright smile, inquisitive mind and thoughtful insights enhanced every shiur she attended. Her enthusiasm for Torah education and communal giving lives on in her children and grandchildren. Her presence at Lamdeinu and in the Jewish community is greatly missed.

Lamdeinu’s Chanukah Breakfast is being chaired by Roz Friedman and Rachelle Mandelbaum. Speakers will include Arielle Cohen, who will discuss “How Learning at Lamdeinu Has Helped Me Parent” and Dean Rachel Friedman who will explore, “Parshanut haMikra: Divine or Human?”

The Lamdeinu Breakfast will be held in person at Congregation Beth Aaron, 950 Queen Anne Road, Teaneck, NJ 07666 and will also be available on Zoom. To register, please visit www.lamdeinu.org/breakfast  and feel free to contact [email protected] with any questions.

The deadline for in-person attendance was November 29. To join by Zoom, please sign up at the Lamdeinu website. If you cannot participate, Lamdeinu is grateful for your tax-deductible donation and support.

Lamdeinu looks forward to celebrating with you this Sunday morning!
