The children of the Lauren Elise Bier Nursery School were busy planting in honor of Tu B’Shevat. They learned the importance of trees and plants and then each class planted their own seeds to see what would grow. The 2s class played with dirt and planted beans in bags. The 3s class planted parsley that they hope will grow for Pesach. The pre-k class planted seeds in bamboo pots to see what would grow. The children also took walks to see trees near the school and made promises to take care of the trees. Everyone looks forward to having a Tu B’Shevat seder next week!
