The children of the Leah Sokoloff Nursery School of Shomrei Torah in Fair Lawn are excited about Shavuot! The older classes painted colorful flowers with forks and created bikkurim baskets out of paper mache. The infant-toddlers decorated the felt board Har Sinai in their room with flowers and butterflies. All of the children worked together in pairs and groups as they learned about sharing and being a good friend, just like Rabbi Akiva! They all enjoyed a tikkun leil Shavuot with Rabbi Yudin and baked delicious cheesecakes for their families!
