Over 600 MDS students, parents and friends celebrated MDS and leaped for the stars at its annual fundraiser on Thursday February 29 at Urban Air, Brooklyn. The junior choir, under the leadership of Chazzan Zevi and Moreh Zach, performed a beautiful tribute to our brothers and sisters in Israel. Dr. Kletenik’s dvar Torah and the new school video both highlighted that every person matters at MDS. All attendees were excited to showcase their MDS pride with new kippot, scrunchies, phone stick-on wallets with misheberach cards for soldiers.

MDS was honored to partner with Bet Elazraki Children’s Home to send 100 Israeli orphans to a trampoline park this week in conjunction with its own Leap for the Stars event.

Thank you to all those who generously gave to the annual fund campaign, raising over $1 million to ensure MDS can continue advancing its academic program and mission and thank you to the dedicated event chairs Natalie Batalion, Malka Bensoussan, Bari Erber and Mindy Pfefferman.
