The pre-k class of the Lauren Elise Bier Nursery School took part in the historic solar eclipse on Monday, April 8. The next total eclipse won’t occur until August 2044. The children first read and learned all about what would happen during the eclipse, shadows and why this was so exciting. They then headed outside to see their shadows with and without their eclipse glasses. The children were overjoyed to take part in this very special event.
